Nicely shaped sandy beach known for surfing. Gets busy with locals in front of the surf shop and beginners towards the north. Best in W swell and offshore E wind. Take care around high tide when water reaches the rocks. Booties recommended due to occasional weaver fish.
Depending on the shifting of the sand banks, Spanish Point can offer average surf. Good for beginners and longboarders.
