Nicely shaped sandy beach known for surfing. Gets busy with locals in front of the surf shop and beginners towards the north. Best in W swell and offshore E wind. Take care around high tide when water reaches the rocks. Booties recommended due to occasional weaver fish.
Medium waves and usual onshore winds. Take care around high tide when water reaches the rocks. This southwesterly facing beach is a good and safe location to learn kitesurfing.
Famous surfing spot but can be sailed in some wind conditions. However, the wind is fluky on the inside and the wave has claimed alot of equipment. Priority goes to surfers.
