Oysterhaven was the place to learn windsurfing in the late 80's and has also been popular with long boarders enjoying the scenery. A nice little sheltered bay, ideal for learning.

Garretstown beach faces south west and catches bigger swells than Coolmaine, although is otherwise similar. Best conditions in SE or NW when the tide is coming in.
