Dogs Bay and Gurteen Bay, lying back to back, are a few miles from Roundstone. Wind blows into Dogs bay creating nice waves and close chop, and then over the low peninsular into Gorteen bay giving strong winds and dead flat water for great slalom.
Lagoon like big shallow bay with flat water. Perfect for beginners. Small, sandy areas with lots of grass to rig on. The bay works in almost all directions although northerlies will be gusty.
