Surfing in Lahinch

Nicely shaped sandy beach known for surfing. Gets busy with locals in front of the surf shop and beginners towards the north. Best in W swell and offshore E wind. Take care around high tide when water reaches the rocks. Booties recommended due to occasional weaver fish.

Can be busy but loads and loads of sections along this long stretch. Best waves up the town end and to the left when looking out. Often onshore, but when conditions are good here you can get long rides.
